Please don't call anyone else for your HVAC needs! We had them out for a new furnace and A/C and to help with some airflow in our split level home. Rob is AMAZING at what he does and only cares for your satisfaction. Cowboy, who managed the installation, was knowledgeable, efficient and a great person! It's never fun having contractors in your home but this was painless. Rob follows up every single time with whatever he says he's going to do. He has a friendly demeanor, is an expert at his job and won't rest until you are happy.

So much respect and gratitude for Kel-Aire! I cannot recommend this company enough. The furnace/heater on my rental property started to die a few weeks before Christmas. I was overwhelmed with inconsistent information and quotes. A friend recommended that I call Kel-Aire. Talking to Robert was like talking to family. Within hours of my initial call Robert was at the location, assessing issues and formulating replacement/repair strategies. He gave me great information and was clear, consistent, responsive and upbeat/positive. Multiple options and scenarios were discussed throughout the entire process. He remained polite and friendly as I asked a million questions to gain clarity and expressed my needs/concerns. I live 90 miles away from the location. Robert and his team went ABOVE and BEYOND to keep this job affordable, as well as completed PROPERLY. This was appreciated and crucial with the onset of cold temperatures and the holiday right around the corner. The job was not simple or easy, and required additional trips and specialized labor. I already like these guys! So...this is only a review for customer service. I needed a good ballpark range of cost to install central heat and possibly air on a house I may buy. This is the kind of question/call a lot of companies would be annoyed to get. Rob was wonderful. Carefully explained general options, talked about how to maybe prepare to add AC, gave me the cost range I needed. That's outstanding service.

After purchasing my home there was some potential HVAC work I needed completed and I had got several opinions. I contacted Kelaire based on a referral and could not have been happier. Rob came out to my house early one morning and assessed the issue. He explained the details of the problems clearly and was able to write me an estimate later that day. The work required the coordination of several contractors (I.e general contractor, plumbers, etc...) and Rob and the folks at Kelaire worked to meet my deadlines. The person that did the work on my unit, "cowboy," was knowledgeable and did gray work. I'd use them again in a heartbeat!

Let me make this clear up front: I could not be happier with the quality of the service I received from Kel Aire and their technician Matt. Absolutely outstanding. Had Kel Aire send a technician to my home when the central heat system quit working this past weekend. I called on Monday morning and they were able to get someone to my home on Thursday morning. I was quite happy as two other outfits I called had longer lead times. Not surprisingly, this is a busy time of year for furnace repairs. The office person called me when the technician was leaving his first job of the day to come to my home. This was very helpful to me as it avoided me just waiting around all morning for the tech to show up. Instead I left work and met the technician there. The tech's name is Matt, and he arrived on time and went right to work troubleshooting my 25-year old Carrier furnace. He quickly figured out that the igniter was bad. Matt showed me the part and where it had failed. He also clearly explained the cost of the replacement part and associated labor before starting so there would be no surprise. Fortunately he had one on the truck so he was able to complete the job right then. After replacing the part and confirming that the system was working again, Matt cleaned the burners , checked the current draw on the blower motor, and the general condition of some of the other key components. Matt also clearly explained how the overall furnace system works, giving me a better understanding of it. Kel Aire will be first and only outfit I call in the future if I need furnace repair or replacement.

After having a different company tell me I needed a new motor for our blower, the tech from kel-aire came to give a second opinion. He comes down from the attic after less than 5 minutes and hands me a carbon monoxide warning label that was caught in our blower fan causing it to be off balance. Quick and honest! Really good service and fair prices. They set the price for my job at Time & Materials Not to Exceed--and the job came in under budget! How often does that happen? Very honest. Rob Baldwin goes over and above. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the options, pros and cons. I got one estimate from a company telling I "HAD" to perform a specific service that would cost ~$1000. KelAire told me I didn't necessarily need it and they wouldn't be able to tell for 6 months until the weather got warm and they ran the system in cooling mode. I definitely feel like I'm in good hands with Kel-Aire--they want to give you the service you need, not what costs the most. They are responsive and call and check to see if I'm pleased with the work--even after hours if needed. I highly recommend them!
